  • The city is named after Colonel Abraham Eustis, a prominent figure in the U.S. military. Lake Eustis, a prominent lake in the area, also shares the city’s namesake.
  • Downtown Eustis has an event on the first Friday of every month! Featuring local vendors, food trucks, and performing arts.
  • Eustis hosts an annual Georgefest, which is recognized as the “longest-running celebration of George Washington’s birthday in the state of Florida.” The festival features parades, live music, and various events.
  • Ferran Park: this picturesque park along the shores of Lake Eustis offers a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, and the aforementioned bandshell. It’s a popular gathering place for locals and visitors.
